How pricing works
A clear proposal starts with a clear scope.
Marketing work is priced around what the business needs us to create, improve or manage. The Free Marketing Review establishes the starting point before a written proposal sets out the agreed work and responsibilities.

The scope of the work
One defined output is different from a connected launch across identity, website, social profiles and campaigns. We identify the immediate commercial problem, the work needed to solve it and the checks required before anything goes live.
The proposal names what is included, what is outside scope, the owner approvals or source material required and any work that would need a separate decision. That lets you judge whether the suggested scope matches the stage and priorities of the business.

Your existing assets
A usable identity, sound website, accurate service copy and organised project material may reduce what needs creating. Outdated, inaccessible or incomplete assets may need improvement before they can support the next piece of work.
The review separates what can be kept from what needs attention. Replacement is suggested only when the existing asset cannot do the job the agreed route requires.

The number of channels
A website, Instagram profile, Facebook page, search campaign and social campaign each need different setup, formats and checks. The number of channels and the way they connect therefore affect the work involved.
A wider channel mix is not automatically better. The proposal should include only the channels that have a clear role and can be supported properly.

What is outside scope unless it is listed
Platform media spend, domain or software fees, third-party services, travel and on-site capture are outside the marketing work unless the written proposal expressly includes or allocates them. The same applies to extra pages, content, revision rounds and ongoing publishing or management beyond the agreed outputs.
Legal, tax, licensing, regulatory, company-name and trade mark advice is not provided as part of a marketing proposal. Where a decision depends on one of those areas, the proposal can identify the dependency but the business needs the appropriate official information or qualified advice.

Content needs and production
The amount of writing, photography, graphics or video required depends on the useful material already available, the formats selected and whether capture or production is part of the work. Permissions, access and client-supplied material also shape the scope.
The capture method, deliverables and responsibilities are agreed before production begins, rather than assumed from a general description.

Advertising management
Campaign setup and ongoing management can include targeting, adverts, landing pages, available tracking, budget monitoring, optimisation and reporting. The selected platforms, campaign breadth and access available affect the management work.
Platform media spend is not treated as the same thing as the work required to plan and manage a campaign. Both are made clear for the agreed route.
07 / 08
Ongoing support
Some businesses need a defined build or improvement. Others need continued publishing, campaign management, website updates or reporting. The frequency and responsibilities of that support affect the proposal.
Ongoing work should have a clear purpose and review point. It is not added simply because the business has asked about more than one service.

From review to written proposal
The review covers the business stage, useful existing assets, priority services, working area, capacity and intended outcome. We then recommend a practical first scope and explain why it comes before other possible work.
The written proposal records the outputs, responsibilities and relevant dependencies for that scope. If the priorities change, the work is reviewed rather than quietly expanded.
